Mental Health

The Virginia Bar Association stated that over 250,000 practicing lawyers are now over 55 years old and that number will be over 750,000 in the next ten years. Everyone knows that as humans age they must deal with brain recall issues. A little less than ten percent of people over 65 experience Alzheimer's Disease. We must make sure that lawyers are not demented. Thus, the Online Think Tank has suggested bi-annual testing of all lawyers over age 50 to make sure they are competent and this can be done in conjunction with "on-going education" and passing a 3/4 bar test every two years. Their IQs can be tested too, along with their recall.

Now looking at the present scenario, today if we try to relate the term nature in relation to health then it won't be wrong. Plants represent a vital element of the original ecological system in which the human species evolved. Perhaps the time has come when we all take a close look at the impact of nature on the health of communities and individuals. Since the evolution of life, the nature has always featured as key components in health promotion models. Our relationship with nature is like a basic component that helps in sustaining good health.

Craziness exists "a priori" in the human brain. We are already born with a schizophrenic content in our psyche and if we don't transform it into a positive part of our human conscience through psychotherapy, we become victims for this absurd content that exists in the anti-conscience, our primitive and evil conscience, which can easily destroy our humanity through craziness. The crazy person becomes a cruel monster, because they lose their human sensitivity. This is not their fault, however, because they inherit this absurd content in their psyche.

There are three types of fasting: dry fasting, juice fasting, and modified fasting. Dry fasting is when the individual refrains from all food and drink throughout the fasting period. Juice fasting allows the individual to consume water, as well as pure vegetable and fruit juices that contain no modified sugars. Modified fasting often involves water and juices, as well as small quantities of herbal teas or steamed vegetables. The most common type of fasting that restores mental alertness is juice fasting, as the body is still gaining valuable nutritional requirements.
